Kristin & Jay share such an incredible love… their ceremony was so personal and just perfect!
And you can just see the love for each other in their pictures!
Thanks again, Corrie, for having me second shoot! You are such a wonderful photographer and friend and it was a honor to shoot with you!
The beautiful Kristin! LOVE her dress!!
Congratulations Jay & Kristin… I wish you both nothing but pure happiness!

Colorado Springs Newborn Photographer – Cora : 8 days new
Posted on June 27, 2011
I’ve been anticipating this session for several months now. The baby’s great-aunt purchased a gift certificate for this couple and I’ve been excited every since!
Today was finally the day! Baby Cora was born last week, making her a whopping 8 days old. LOVE!
She rocked the session… so squishy and content. And even saved pooping till daddy was holding her!
Here’s some sneak peek images for you guys, hope you enjoy them!
Luckily it was nice enough outside today that we had the chance to take a few shots outdoors!
The happy family
It was great meeting you guys today, your daughter is beyond gorgeous!
Enjoy her while she’s so little, they grow so quickly!

Hello Mr. Squirrel
Posted on June 23, 2011
A couple nights ago Allie & Ava made little bird seed feeders out of some pine cones they found on one of our evening walks.
We slathered the pine cones in peanut butter and then sprinkled bird seed all over them.
Simple, easy and quick!
Well, last night before bed we hung them right outside out living room window. And this morning we had our first nibbler…
but, it was no bird.
It was our neighborhood squirrel.
I had a feeling he would find these little treats. He loves sitting right outside out window and tormenting our dog.
Oooh well, at least someone is eating our little treats!
I must admit, he’s got some determination!

Colorado Springs Photographer – Fathers Day Aboard the Train
Posted on June 21, 2011
This year for Father’s Day we spent the day on the Cumbres & Toltec Scenic Railroad. It was such a neat experience!
We drove three hours to Antonito, CO where we boarded the old steam engine train. SO cool! The kids loved it!
We departed from Antonito, CO and went back and forth over the CO/NM border through the scenic landscapes.
We ended out four hour ride in Chama, NM.
I took a ton of pictures, but here are some that sum up our day
This was the train car in front of ours, but ours looked identical to it.
Allie & cousin Britney were excited for the ride!
Checking our tickets
My mom & step-dad… who made this whole trip possible!
Givin’ daddy some love on fathers day. Ok, Ava looks a bit bored, haha!
Aaaaaand we’re off…
My mom & sister, Jane.
Mike & Ava
Britney was taking pictures of everyone when she turned the camera onto herself.
She didn’t miss and beat and even threw up the peace sign in her self portraits
Toooo funny!
Walking from car to car. A little scary (and windy!).
Gorgeous views from the train!
Little stinker Eli would not let me take a picture of him! So with some force from mommy, I got this
It got pretty windy with the windows down, so Ben decided to put Brit’s hair in a ponytail.
Loved her faces as Ben was putting it up!
This little car followed behind the train with a reserve water tank. Just in case!
We stopped half way in Osier for lunch.
Our car
so so so so pretty!
Lots of sleepyheads towards the end of the ride
My studly man
Our ending station… Cumbres.
We were planning on going all the way to Chama, but there was something wrong with the tracks between
Cumbres and Chama so we had to end here.
This was such a great trip! Everyone loved it and it was such a neat experience!
I highly recommend it to all!

There once was a man and a woman…
Together they had four beautiful children.
Three princes…
And one beautiful little princess.
Gorgeous children, aren’t they?
I love this one! I feel like this is the reality of having four children
And they lived happily ever after!
Thanks for meeting up this evening S family! It was a pleasure!!

Colorado Springs Child Photographer – Mine
Posted on June 10, 2011
These past couple of weeks have been a pretty big deal around our house.
First, last week Allie had her end of the year ballet recital. It was beyond adorable and I am SO proud of her!
When I was younger I was very shy, so shy you couldn’t pay me to get on a stage.
Allie… yeah, not so much. She loves being on stage. She wants to live on stage! ha! She definitely doesn’t get that from me.
(But I do think my hubby has that trait!
)
(She is the 3rd from the right.)
Then this past Wednesday my big girl graduated from kindergarten!
Don’t ask me where the past school year went… it flew by!
I cannot believe my little girl will be starting first grade in August.
Forgive me, I did not get any pictures of her actual graduation. I video tapped it and enjoyed the moment.
But here are a few of her when we got home from graduation.
(She also got a haircut this past week… cut 6″ off!)
Rockin’ daddy’s shades!
And of course, lil’ sis had to get in on the action.
Is it just my kids or are other little kiddos obsessed with licking each other. YUCK!
I told them to give each other a kiss and this is what they did instead.
So proud of my little Allie. I don’t care if she’s done with kinder and starting first grade soon…
She’s STILL my baby.

Colorado Springs Family Photographer – Fishing at Rampart Reservoir
Posted on June 9, 2011
Last weekend we decided to take advantage of Colorado’s free fishing weekend!
We grab some friends and headed north to Rampart Reservoir. What a beautiful location, and the weather was perfect!
When we got there, we had to load up the gear we wanted to take. Kendahl was a huge help
The girls got their brand new fishing poles and sand toys!
The hubby with everything else
Then we started our hike which wasn’t too long. It just took a long time with those two short legs on the left.
Little Julie helped pull Ava along.
The perfect spot.
Soaking up some rays, and dipping our toes in the (freezing, snow melt) water!
Lil’ K didn’t seem to mind the ice cold water. Shortly after this shot she sat down and played in the water.
BRRR!!!!!
The babies
The landscape was so neat! How these rocks just ended up here, I have no idea!
This crazy girl just kept trying to get into the water!
Two of my favorite people. Love this moment
Too bad we didn’t catch anything! Next time!

Today I grabbed the girls and the hubby (to be a wrangler) and we headed out for some location scouting… I’ve been wanting to test out a few spots for a while and finally had the chance to tonight!
I love it!
It had such variety!
Big share!
This is totally her.
Some ADORABLE sisterly love.
My oh my. How she has grown! I cannot believe she will graduate kindergarten next week.
This is her posing herself
Crazy little Ava got all wild!
And I LOVE it. Totally her!
(Excuse her outfit, she dressed herself and she was nowhere near ready for pictures.)
Mean older sister. Avoiding kisses from (dirty face) baby sister!
Man. I HEART THEM!!!!
